Non-Destructive Digging (NDD) – Safe & Precise Excavation – Safe & Precise Excavation
Non-Destructive Digging, commonly known as hydro excavation, is a modern excavation method that uses high-pressure water to break up soil and a powerful vacuum to safely remove it. This technique is especially effective when working near underground infrastructure like cables, pipes, and utility lines.
How It Works
NDD involves directing high-pressure water at the ground to loosen soil, dirt, or sand. A vacuum system then collects the slurry and stores it in an onboard tank. The removed material is later transported to an approved disposal facility, leaving behind a clean and precise excavation site.
Where We Use It
Our team frequently performs NDD across critical infrastructure zones, including:
Sewer and stormwater lines
Electrical and communication cables
Gas pipelines
Sensitive construction zones
